Purpose and Key points
Concurrent Access - Allow multiple users to document for the same patient at the same time, without locking the form.
Visibility Across the EMR - The form must be visible in all appropriate areas of the EMR.
Post-Discharge Accessibility - the form must be available to access even after a client has been discharged.
All documentation throughout the client’s admission is captured within the Inpatient Form, resulting in a single Encounter Note entry - the Primary Encounter Note.
Workflow:
Users open the form with POS specific typing template e.g.: vdc\, ctc\ etc.
