Problem
User email is received requesting reactivation of their Profile EMR account.
Verification
Email user to verify the following:
When did they last use Profile EMR?
Are they coming back to a different POS than they had access to previously?
Post dormant account activation?

Retraining
- If the user has not logged into Profile EMR within last 2 years, they require to retake the Foundations class.
- If the user has logged into Profile EMR within the last 2 years and they are coming back to a different POS, inform the user to contact he site lead for clinic specific workflow training.
- If the user has logged into Profile EMR within the last 2 years, their account can be activated.
In order to reactivate the account, user is required to email the completed Access Form by an authorized delegate to Imitspccommunity@vch.ca.
Once the Access Form has been received, follow the steps below to complete the activation.
Search for the Inactive User Account
- Open People and Places
- Under the Organisation Structure- Click on VCH/PHC EMR at the top of the organizational tree
- Place a checkmark beside include inactive
- Click the drop down list by Find and search by Code or by Description
- Type the user’s code e.g. jsmith or their last name e.g. smith in the Find field and click on Find
