Background
Group Management Tool is a self service tool, which allow Super Users to add clinicians to a Distribution Group for their clinic/POS in EMR. Group Management Tool is launched via the Admin Forms icon.
Step by step instructions:
Login to Profile EMR with a Super user account access
Click on Admin Forms icon (located on top right of the panel bar)
Select Group Management Tool
Click Open Form button or double click onto the selected Group Management Tool
Group Management Tool box will open showing all the Groups associated to user's clinic/POS
Select Group which you want to add clinician to (in this case it is PEN-MHN Mental Health Nurses (PEN))
PEN-MHN Group members will be displayed in the Members window
Click onto User Code: field under Add User to Selected Group: it will show three dots ...
Click onto ...
Select People and Places search box will open
Enter the clinician’s name you want added to this group, either by code or by name (in this case it is by name which is Henry Boy)
Click Search or hit enter/return on your keyboard
Henry Boy with code HBOYPHY will appear
Select Henry Boy and click Ok or hit enter/return on your keyboard
Henry's code which is HBOYPHY will be added in the Add User to Selected Group: section
Click on Add then click OK button
Henry Boy is now added to the group’s existing Members list
Click Organisation then select People & Places
Click on the small refresh icon
PEN-MHN group is now refreshed with newly added member: Henry Boy
Search for your group by selecting All Groups then by code, in this case we type PEN-MHN
Click Find on the right side
Group named Mental Health Nurses (PEN) will be shown
Double click to open the group, look for Henry Boy, code: HBOYPHY as the newly added member of this group
Check for an email from EMR support confirming this change
