Entering Vaccine Supply in ImmsBC
1. Locate and click the App Launch icon
2. Select “Health Connect – Supply Console” application
3. A new page will appear, with new options in the dropdown menu next to the App Launch icon
4. Click the dropdown arrow, and select “Supply Locations”
5. Locate the Search Bar on the “Supply Locations” header
6. Type the name of your clinic in the Search Bar and click “Enter” on your keyboard
7. Select your clinic location from the list below
8. A new page will appear with the heading “Supply Location: Your Clinic Location”
9. The default view on this page is the “Details” tab
10. On the upper right side of the page heading, locate the “Receive Supplies” button and click
11. A popup window will appear, including four fields: Supply Item, Quantity, Location From, and Supply Distribution To
a. The “Dose Conversion Factor” and “Doses” fields will auto-populate based on your “Quantity” field entry
12. Click on the “Supply Item” field, and type to find your vaccine trade name (type at least 3 letters)
a. You may need to type the first 3 letters of the vaccine product, and then select Show all Results For “XXX” to view all related vaccine trade names. Select based on lot number
13. Click on the “Quantity” field and enter the number of vials received
14. Leave the “Location From” field blank
15. Select the dropdown arrow in the “Supply Distribution To” field, and select an option from the list below (i.e. there should usually be one option)
17. Click “Save” and a green notification will appear acknowledging the vaccine supply has successfully been received
18. You may review the details of all the vaccine supplies at your clinic, by clicking the “Related Items” tab
19. To check that inventory is loaded navigate to ICE and set your defaults to the applicable clinic and validate that your newly loaded lot number appears as an option in the Lot picklist.
NOTE: these steps will change when the larger inventory changes are rolled out.
