IMPORTANT: This standard order only applies to Form URL Links short code type and for updating the Description.
Form URL Links short codes store website information embedded in buttons on forms or toolbars. Some examples are:
- Special Authority button in New Encounter that directs users to the Special Authority eForm website
- ? button in the Youth Clinic Assessment form that directs users to the external Zendesk article on how to use the form
Fulfillment Instructions
- Sign into EMR DEV using an account with a Sys Admin or Support Analyst role
- Go to Maintain > Short Codes
- In Type column, select Form URL Links
- Double-click the row you would like to update
- Modify Description only as requested and click OK to save and close
- Verify the update was successful by triggering this short code's link in the form it's included in.
- If all is good, proceed to do the same change into Profile EMR Production
- Using the generic ADMIN user account, add the changes done above to EMR VTM. This is so both Training and Self-Training environments will get this update on next refresh.
