List of POS's & Payee ID's

The table below is divided into the following five sections (and there are POS & Payee ID Notes below the table):

1	POS HAS PAYEE ID - NP'S USE MSP #	These clinics have: A Clinic Payee ID Billing MD's who use the Clinic Payee ID Shadow billing NP's who use their own MSP # as their Payee ID
2	POS HAS NO PAYEE ID - NP'S USE MSP #	These clinics have: No Clinic Payee ID Shadow billing NP's who use their own MSP # as their Payee ID Some have MD's who may not be billing or may be billing outside the EMR
3	PHC CLINICS	See notes below about Providence Health Care clinics (and how the PHC Data Centre # is different than the VCH Community Data Centre # used in EMR)
4	NO BILLING	These clinics do not bill through EMR
5	INACTIVE	These clinics are no longer active

In the following table, the MD column simply indicates whether or not the POS has MD's, and the NP column simply indicates whether or not the POS has NP's. They do not indicate whether the MD's or NP's bill through Profile EMR.

POS & Payee ID Notes

*Home ViVE Program

• Physician encounter reporting (different default fee codes per MSPFEE macro - see Simplified Billing - Physician Encounter Reporting)

*Shellbridge Family Health Clinic

• LFP and NTP MDs will be using their own PayeeIDs.
• NPs are using the clinic's PayeeID.
• Nurses are using the clinic's PayeeID.

BCCDC CPS

• CPS has a fake client for pseudonym (no PHN) billing (see EMR-9108)

Providence Health Care (PHC)

The following four POS’s belong to Providence Health Care, not VCH. which has significant billing implications because PHC has a different Data Centre # than the VCH Community one in EMR:

• Crosstown Clinic - ITC
• Inner City Youth (Foundry Vancouver) - IYC (shadow billing physicians and encounter reporting NPs under same clinic Payee ID - see EMR-7971)
• John Ruedy Clinic - JRC (external billing only: physicians generate billing claims in EMR which is printed to PDF and sent to MedCom who processes their claims and reconciliations. See EMR-7558. DO NOT ADD PAYEE ID)
• RAAC (Rapid Access Addiction Clinic) - RAA

Crosstown Clinic and JRC NP’s have their Payee ID (12837) attached to a PHC Data Centre # (T0012), so they cannot currently bill in EMR. (EMR cannot have two Data Centre #’s).

Crosstown Clinic, JRC and RAAC billing is currently outsourced, but Crosstown would like to bill in EMR.

Foundry North Shore

Dr. Di Lalla is on a PCN contract and uses Payee ID 36683.

Foundry Richmond

Foundry Richmond physicians are on a PCN contract which has very specific billing requirements. (Val Kroeker [e-mail] is the contact person if there are questions about this.)

NS Diabetes Ed. Centre

At NS Diabetes Education Centre, some clients are charged a nominal fee but invoices and payment go through LGH.
