Add notes to an incident when you need to document your progress or communicate to someone who may be receiving the incident after you. Notes can be visible to the user if required. To add a note to an incident, follow these steps:
1. To open the incident, click on the date and time that is hyperlinked.

2. Scroll to the Notes section. Here you will see all system generated notes and manually entered notes.
3. Enter your note into the Work Notes section and Post when finished. If you want your note to be visible to the user, check the Additional comments box before posting.
